Please take a look and see if you might like one for yourself or as a gift for someone special! She welcomes custom orders as well!

Vacation

Just wanted to let everyone one know that I've put my shops in Vacation Mode as I will be doing just that. We leave for Asia next week and won't be back until the end of the month. I will be looking for new craft supplies and exploring cities I've never been to before.

Quit Your Day Job interviews

I look forward to reading these little interviews from Etsy every week. They are very inspirational and helpful as well. It's like learning from the great masters of craft selling! One day I hope to be able to do the same and read my own interview there!

Monthly Goal Meetup

I've been reading a great blog called Modish Biz Tips. The blogger has a Monthly Goal Meetup where she will list what she accomplished from last month's goals and what her new monthly goals are. I thought I'd give it a shot.

September Goals

  1. Make something every week.
  2. List something every week.
  3. Blog about something every week.
  4. Twitter at least once every weekday.

Glass Tiles Work in Progress

I will be a vendor at a local street fair next Saturday so I've been busy making these glass tiles. Luckily as I was making them I received a large order for my magnets so now I'm really scrambling to make more! Don't they look lovely all neatly stacked together?

I purchased these great glass tiles from a fellow Etsy seller: ChristianHaylie

10th Anniversary

Ok, that's not our wedding anniversary but it's how long my hubby and I have been together now since we started dating. To celebrate, we participated in Restaurant Week in NYC at Barbetta. I've always wanted to go there but felt the prices were too high so luckily they participated in Restaurant Week. The portions were a bit small (the salmon was my husband's and he definitely needed more than that!) but the decor was lovely. The food came very quickly so we had time to spare to walk around Times Square until the meter was up.

Bittersweet chocolate mousse. Not the best presentation I have to say.

We walked around the M&M store and just the center of Times Square.

Blue Rhinestone Birthday Card

I made this card with a blue satin ribbon and added each rhinestone to the flowers on the patterned paper. The stamp is from Studio G. Love those $1 clear stamp sets!

Gifts Tags

I found some very colorful and artistic scrapbook paper at the craft store last month. I decided to use it to make some gift tags. Each tag has a different look since the paper doesn't have a repeated pattern. That's what makes it so unique. Hope you like them!

Mystic, CT Mini Vacation

Last weekend we had a mini vacation. We went to Mystic, CT for the weekend. It's about 2.5 hrs driving from NYC so that we wouldn't get bored with the travel. Aside from the humidity, it was a very nice little town. Coming from NYC, this was a relief. We need to do this more often!

The last picture is of the thunderstorm that came around dinner time. We got wet but not too bad.

Birthday Weekend Part 2

No, I didn't get these cupcakes for my birthday but don't they look delicious and beautiful? After the walk in the High Line Park we stumbled upon Chelsea Market where we found this bakery.

Brides in Central Park

Central Park in Manhattan, NYC is a beautiful place. So beautiful that it's not a surprise to find several bridal shoots going one in a small area. I went to Central Park this past Saturday and found three brides! i felt like the paparazzi trying to sneak a picture of them in their beautiful white gowns! Well, they are the star for the day!

Washi Chiyogami Paper

I've fallen in love! Besides with my husband, I'm in love with this Japanese Chiyogami paper. I've been made some magnets and a pendant but a few days ago I thought they would make great envelopes seals or stickers. What do you think?
